Garcia Vice President for Enrollment Management Project Interests Mr. Garcia's interests include development of innovative programs that support student pathways to college, provide student scholarship resources for postsecondary study, and/or stipends to faculty serving as mentors. In most cases, these projects provide targeted support for low-income, first-generation, disabled and/or minority students. Pronger Director of WTAMU Small Business Development Center Project Interests The Office of Economic Innovation (OEI) is interested in setting up spin-out companies to license research or products created by faculty & staff. Company creation at this stage assumes the license is held by the A&M System after proper disclosures have been made, and that creating a company would hold some advantage over licensing to an OTC-sourced company. Beyond the potential monetary rewards, startups provide myriad benefits which include economic growth, job creation, faculty retention and faster product development. OEI maintains close relationships in the entrepreneurial community and can assist directly with company creation, market assessment, financing and management services.
