"Saving the Southern Plains Bison" Lecture by Donald Beard, superintendent of Caprock Canyons State Park

CSAW, in conjunction with Texas Wild, is hosting Donald Beard of Caprock Canyons State Park on November 16 at 7:30 pm.  Caprock Canyons State Park has been home to the Texas State Bison Herd since 2010 and, as Superintendent of the Park, Beard manages the herd.  CSAW looks forward to hearing Beard’s presentation of the history of the bison in North America and the Goodnight herd, as well as his take on the future of the animals.  Join us in the Hazlewood Room of the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum for a memorable talk and light refreshments.
